Mother’s Day Pancake Breakfast
On Sunday, May 10, 2009, Pancake Charlie’s
crew was up to the task. Over 100 guests showed up for the 27th
annual culinary delight. With our secret mixture of ingredients,
blended up by Alan Purcell and Jack Meehan, our grill team of Bob
Quinn and Dennis Sullivan patted then down and served perfect
pancakes. Under the watchful eyes of Kevin Morgan (no he didn’t eat
that many) he dispensed the sausage and corned beef hash, we
promised him the leftovers. Walt Farrell got us started with the
coffee, tea and fresh squeezed orange juice. Frank Lynch was able
to keep everyone away from the beer cooler keep up the supply of
syrup.
Thanks to Patrick of Top Hat Catering for
his eggs to order and the delicious corned beef hash. And to our
most important team member, Kathy for not allowing anybody to get by
the door without payment. We did refund money if the babies were on
their own formula.
Happy Mother’s Day
